METROPLAN
Established in 1973, Metroplan is a leading UK specialist in display, presentation and education solutions. With over 50 employees across our UK operations and a dedicated UK manufacturing facility, we design, manufacture and supply innovative products for a wide range of workplace, learning and public environments.
Our extensive portfolio includes noticeboards, whiteboards, display and exhibition systems, literature display solutions, furniture and storage products, partition screens, and audio visual support equipment.

1973
Company founded in Pleshey, Essex, before moving to a larger premises in the mid 70’s
1983
First commercial warehouse facility opened in Great Dunmow, Essex
1997
The renowned Resist-a-flame® brand of fire rated Noticeboards was born
1998
Opened our second warehouse facility based in the beautiful Lake District, Cumbria, which later became our UK Head Office
2005
Moved our southern based warehouse from Essex to a larger, better positioned facility in Rushden, Northamptonshire
2008
Entered in to a new exciting phase, and started manufacturing onsite at our Head Office site in Kendal, Cumbria
2011
Designed and created our first ever Projection Screen inhouse, known as Eyeline®, a popular channel-fix style product
2014
Increased our fleet of delivery transport, to ensure full national coverage
2017
Opened our third UK site and second warehouse facility, also located in Cumbria
2023
